Theresa Okogwa


Theresa is the head of our immigration law and family law departments. She has extensive experience in these fields. Theresa qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria before relocating to England in 2007. Upon arrival in England, Theresa initially trained and qualified as a Legal Secretary/Practice Manager, before qualifying as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2011. Theresa strives to ensure the best outcome for our clients. She is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and Resolution. She is also accredited by the Law Society as an immigration and Asylum Law Supervising Senior Caseworker.

Dr Claude-Bernard Tene LLB (Hons) LLM, PhD

Litigation Executive

Dr Claude-Bernard Tene is experienced in Civil Litigation, focusing on contract disputes, personal injuries and Clinical Negligence.  He also specialises in Policy development and implementation of laws and regulations. Being a firm believer in client care, he is the firm’s Complaint Manager and deals with each individual clients’ requirements and interests in a personable manner, paying careful attention to the unique needs of every client. He is involved in all aspects of Dispute Resolution and uses his communication skills to help sustain the reputation of the firm. Claude-Bernard holds, among many other qualifications, a PhD Doctorate from the Nottingham University Africa and an LLM in International Banking and Insurance Law from the London Metropolitan University, UK. Claude-Bernard is the author of several peer reviewed articles in leading academic journals. He also holds a membership of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive.
